So this week has been good. In our district we have 6 elders and 2 sisters and for lunch we went to taco bell and played burrito roulette which is where everyone buys 3 burritos and they are all wrapped the same and 3 of the burritos were nasty burritos and we all take one and pass it to the right eat, take pass left eat, take pass across and eat, and if you got the bad burrito you had to eat the whole thing. 2 had only jalapenos and guacamole, and 1 had every type of sauce in it. We then went bowling where I ripped my pants again.

 We have 2 investigators, one has a baptismal date and one is in Italy right now and almost has a baptismal date.   Also, the peddle on my bike broke in half. And that same night I fell in to a hole. (We were riding along a highway on the grass and it was dark, there was a hole and my front tire went into it and stopped but the rest of my bike wanted to still be moving.  So I went over the handle bars.

So the pants that needed to be sewn were the ones we got at DI and they came unstitched below the pockets on both sides. I had already sewn them and on one side it got worse after a while.  The stitch I made held but it came unstitched farther down.  It also ripped across the crotch and I sewed that.  A member was giving us a ride and I was putting my bike in the back when my pants exploded at the thigh. It was ripped from the crotch to the knee and I haven’t sewn that yet.

I’ve already gained 20 lbs.  I now weigh 175. I’m going to be so fat when I come home and I can grow facial hair more effectively so I have to shave a ton it sucks.

New Companion

My new companion is awesome his name is Elder Whitney and he got transferred from Milton which is the next city over. We would hang out on p-days. I got the package and it was awesome, thank you so much. The picture on the mission blog where it looks like I am "dancing" is with Elder Browning and I was doing a karate take down.

So the coolest thing happened this week so we have an investigator that we have been teaching for 2 years and we had taught him all the lessons. We were sitting down for dinner and we normally watch D&C videos but I asked what other things we had to watch and Elder Whitney pulled out the Mormon message videos and when we opened it up it was the bible videos so we decided to watch them. We got to the part where Jesus is cleaning out the temple and he was throwing the tables and my comp and I were both surprised and we looked in the bible and found that is said that he was overturning tables, after that we decided to follow along in the bible with the videos because they are word for word from the bible and when we got to the sermon on the mount in Matt. 7 and it applied perfectly and we made an awesome lesson plan and when we gave it to him he really opened up to us and he is so close to a bcd. (I think this is baptism covenant day but not sure (Cheryl))

So this week has been amazing weather. It was cool and we could drive with the windows down and have the wind in our faces. Conference was awesome and where I was, it was only one hour behind, most of the mission is only one hour behind but tally is two. I saw Josh Palmer and Joseph Goodmenson in the MTC choir at priesthood session. I really liked Elder Bednars talk in the last session and can use that for people I teach.
