These
pictures are from a member whose son was getting baptized and they invited us
to go to Texas roadhouse. Our investigator is out of town right now so he
didn't come to church. Settlers of Catan sounds like so much fun. We almost
played that on Christmas, but instead we played apples to apples junior. We
were told that we are closing our apartment. meaning that we are 100% moving
but not sure if they are pulling us out and going to have only one set of elders
in Pace. So if you have things that won’t be here by the end of January, send
them to the mission office address for safety. Thank you for the watches they
sound super cool.

December 29, 2014
This week was good we finally got our investigator to come
to church. He is so close, I can feel it. We had a 65 degree Christmas. It has
been raining all week long. Last night when we were walking around it was so foggy.
You see in the movies where everything is white and you can’t see a thing you
could see maybe 50ft away. It was crazy. Also we were doing service and we were
cutting some dead branches off a tree from the tree and we were goofing off and
elder smith threw a stick at the tree it bounced off and hit me in the face so I
got a nice lump and a scab on my forehead.

Almost Christmas Dec. 22, 2014
My first transfer went by slow but
after that it has flown by. At the end of this transfer I would have been out
for 1/4 of my mission already. The work here is very slow. Most of the time we
walk around just trying to talk to people. Sometimes it is hard to talk to more
than 10 people. One time we talked to ten because we were power walking for 3
hours talking to everyone we saw. Thank you again for the calendar. I got the taco bell gift card today. This Christmas
will be awesome.

December 15, 2014
The weather is really nice here. I was thinking about going
out in shorts Christmas morning and taking a picture to send you guys.
Christmas will be awesome because there are 4 elders in Pace and we live in the
same apartment complex. So Christmas morning we will most likely go and open
presents at their house. And I did get your package and the presents in the
stocking with the references. I figured out all of them except one.

Pensacola zone
Hi
I'm doing good. Most of the days we have lots of open space that we just walk around trying to talk to people and see potentials and less actives. I'm excited for half mission conference because this time since it is close to Christmas, we were each given a stalking, a name, and $8 and we are supposes to fill the stocking and give it to that person.
Our investigator didn't come to church but today he is taking us to McGuire's, a famous food place in Pensacola. After that we are going to tour a robotics place that a member of the stake presidency is over. It is going to be so cool.
we will sometimes teach two or three discussions a week. We currently have two investigators and we have a few less actives that we are trying to see. Thank you for the notes and the other stuff in the calender. The subway gift card is at the perfect time because they have an event where you can get a foot long meatball Marmara or cold cut combo for $4.

Nov. 24th
so for thanksgiving we only have one dinner planed so after dinner it will be like a normal day. but it has warmed up a little and when we were walking yesterday night it was foggy and my glasses fogged up and it was really creepy. we almost did dodge ball for a zone activity but ended up having a turkey bowl. we are also planing on having a ward turkey bowl on Thursday.

Dec. 1
So my Thanksgiving was great. To start off we had a turkey
bowl and our ward won against the other ward, which is surprising
because they had a lot of young marines. We went to a members house for
dinner and we had fried turkey and it was so good. After dinner we had a
small fire and sat around and talked and had a good time.
One of the other elders, elder smith, was
cooking a hamburger on our stove and he tipped it to take it off and
spilled some grease on our stove and so we had a fire in our apartment
for a minute.

November 10 & 17
November 10
This week has been good. The days have been nice in the afternoon, but it gets so cold in the morning. This week it is suppose to get to the high 30s in the morning and when you add the humidity, it is so cold. I got lights on my bike so I can see/ be seen at night. I also lost a bet with the other elders in Pace so elder Whitney and I both had to shave our legs, my legs get super cold now. Something that sucks is that one of our investigators said he was coming to church and he sounded so sincere but then he didn't show up. It sucked.
November 17
It has been getting pretty cold here. The low this week was 29 and the high was 50. We had a member look up the weather and at one point it was colder here then it was in cedar. crazy right?! I didn't expect to be cold in Florida. Right now I don't have a very warm coat and there are not many good coats in the stores here but one of the members said he could hook us up with some nice, but cheap jackets from the military base.
(I asked Dallin what a typical day was like for him). so a typical day here is we leave around 10 and walk around till 1 and eat lunch. Then we bike/walk/drive till dinner. Then we walk around some more and then come back and plan at 9 then chill till 10:30.
It rained last night and it rained hard. We went to a members house and he had a salt water fish tank and he had a bunch of fish and coral in it. It was really cool.
